If you are receiving multiple scholarships, Utah Tech must coordinate awards so that they do not exceed the total cost of tuition for each semester. Some awards may therefore be lower than the initial offer. To be awarded or retain a Utah Tech Theatre Scholarship, recipients must: Theatre majors and minors Maintain full-time status at Utah Tech (at least 12 credits per semester) Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.0 Maintain a minimum Theatre GPA of 2.5 Be a declared Theatre major, Integrated Studies - Theatre Emphasis major, or a Theatre minor Make active progress on their Theatre major or minor each semester Enroll in at least one Theatre Workshop each semester (at least .5 credits) Participate in at least one production per semester, in either a performance role or technical/design Participate in strike for every production Attend every majors and minors meeting Participate in Utah Tech Theatre sponsored events such as Drama Day Demonstrate maturity and professionalism Adhere to the expectations and standards of each production role that you are awarded (attend required rehearsals and production meetings, be on time, have lines memorized by deadline, meet design deadlines, etc.) Non-Theatre majors and minors Scholarships limited, cap of $1000 per year. Maintain full-time status at Utah Tech (at least 12 credits per semester) Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.0 Maintain a minimum Theatre GPA of 2.5 Enroll in at least one Theatre Workshop each semester (at least .5 credits) Participate in at least one production per semester, in either a performance role or technical/design Participate in strike for every production Attend every majors and minors meeting Participate in Utah Tech Theatre sponsored events such as Drama Day Demonstrate maturity and professionalism Adhere to the expectations and standards of each production role that you are awarded (attend required rehearsals and production meetings, be on time, have lines memorized by deadline, meet design deadlines, etc.) Please note that these scholarships are one-year, or in special cases, one-semester awards.
