Part-Time Instructor. Rebecca Wright has two Masters degrees. She is an academic passion for textual analysis and performance. During graduate school, she studied Shakespeare and rhetoric, which deepened her interest in textually supported performance and the connection between written text and theatrical practice. While she especially enjoys working with Shakespearean texts, Rebecca also loves exploring musicals and plays from every century and decade.
Along with classes on campus. Rebecca teaches acting, including audition preparation and callback workshops, and enjoys helping artists develop their skills, discover their potential, and pursue their dreams. She incorporates her academic background into practice-as-research work, exploring the ways scholarship and performance can inform and enrich one another.
When she is not pursuing theatre, Rebecca enjoys training her dog, Rosie, watching movies, and developing her other creative talents, including singing and playing the guitar. Admittedly, she has the best dog ever, Rosie.
