Actor/Singers: Please prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show (legit).

16 bars is roughly 30 seconds long. You don’t have to have EXACTLY 16 bars…just something in the neighborhood of 16.
We may also ask you to sing another song, so if you’re able to have a backup, that would be helpful.
Actor/Singers are asked to sign up for a 10-minute audition slot. You do not need to attend both days.
PLEASE BRING SHEET MUSIC IN YOUR KEY. AN ACCOMPANIST WILL BE PROVIDED.

For more information, please refer to the sign-up link above OR simply email Brandon Bruce at brandon.bruce@utahtech.edu or Music Director Dr. Melissa Walker Glenn at melissa.glenn@utahtech.edu.

Community Audition Policy

UT Theatre encourages community involvement and welcomes the public to audition, unless otherwise advertised. In the case that community members do audition, it is the obligation of the Department and Institution to provide the foremost opportunities to students who are registered and enrolled as a student at the time of casting. Roles for individuals who are not registered and enrolled students are not guaranteed and will most likely be secondary characters or chorus cast member roles. Those who enroll, audition, are cast and then withdraw from school at any time during the semesters of production, may be replaced.

We appreciate the ongoing support and the enthusiasm of our community members. We hope to see you again soon!
